| 20 Years In The Making | |||||||||||||
| The Freestyle Design Team have been testing garments for over 20 years. In that time, riding has gone through big changes, as has the equipment the riders have used. Expectations of the riders has grown to high levels with more terrain and conditions tackled. This called for a higher standard of performance in clothing. Garments now needed to be stronger, more robust, protective and of course breathable! They also need to be cleaned regulary, no point in having a shiny bike if your jacket looks dirty. These rules are what Freestyle live by. The styles that we now produce are some of the highest performing garments available today. Every design that makes it into the range has a story of long rides and plenty of mud, sweat and sometimes tears behind it. When your 10 miles from your car on the Moors and the weather has turned nasty, having the right clothing will ensure you are still enjoying the ride and sometimes will save your life. |

All Freestyle products are made by a team who are regarded as some of the best machinists in the industry. We have complete control over every seam, stitch and zip used to make a Freestyle garment. Freestyle also has the ability to repair. We all fall off our bikes now and then, sometimes causing damage to our clothing. All Gore-Tex jackets can be repaired and still keep the waterproof guarantee, all other garments are just as easy to repair. |

| All Freestyle garments are put together in a jigsaw style. This means that there is less overlapping of fabric and the garment is more breathable. The proccess starts with raw material which has all the pieces of the Jigsaw drawn onto it. We then cut them out, many layers at a time. The reflective logo is stamped onto the correct pannels and each machinist then sews the garment together adding the draw cords and lables. If the garment is a waterproof, all the seams must then be taped. This stops any water getting through where the fabric has been sewn. Most seams are tested in the next stage to check that the garment is waterproof. A Gore-Tex seam must pass more than 3m waterhead for Freestyle to be able to sell these garments under the waterproof guarantee. | |||||||||||||

| Taping a garment means that even the seams are waterproof. Doesn't matter what the weather does now, you can still enjoy it. | |||||||||||||
